Script :: Chapter 3 – Silent Edge
*Vincent walked to Edge finally and Edge is raining heavily. Not a single living person walks on the street.*

 


*Scene cuts to Rosso who is at the storage house*

Rosso: Hahahahaahahaha— Hanged, disposed, striked, killed, clubbed, assassinated, suppressed, strangled, gored, shot, pulverized. You gave such a great speech, Vice. Hahaha, I wonder if it is possible for me to have a little fun?

*Then the camera pans out and we see that a lot of the WRO members are dead on the floor.*

 


*Scene goes back to Vincent with him hiding around the corner checking something out. A woman in lab coat walks behind him, as she closes upon him, they both draw their guns at each other. Then Vincent noticed the WRO ID card on her coat.*

Vincent: WRO?

Shalua: You?

*Vincent draws back his gun.*

Vincent: Vincent Valentine. Came here upon the request of Reeve.

*Shalua swings her gun a bit.*

Shalua: I apologize for my bad manners. Shalua Rui, from WRO. I"ve heard a lot of things about you from the Chief.

Vincent: What happened here?

Shalua: I want to hear about that too. Though I came here for another matter, this place seems to be too quiet… I wonder what happened to those WRO and DG soldiers? Moreover, it is expected that there are only 500 people left in this city. There is nothing we can do with this place being like this. If you will excuse me, I have something I need to look for.

Vincent: You are looking for something?

Shalua: Yea, I am always being halted by the Chief, but this time it will be different.

Vincent: What are you looking for?

Shalua: My "life".

*Shalua left and Vincent goes on.*

 


*After wandering in Edge for awhile, Vincent sees a dying WRO soldier.*

WRO soldier (Male): Finished… by a soldier in Crimson. All the people that were sent in before…all annihilated…

Vincent: …

WRO soldier (Male): The storage house outside of the town… people gathered there… I…will leave…the storage house… to you…

*WRO soldier dies and Vincent goes over to close his eyes.*

 


*Vincent arrived at the center square - the place where the memorial is in AC. Then he notices a few snipers here and there and he shoots them down. While Vincent is shooting these snipers, he sees a child running pass.*

Vincent: Hmm? A child?

*Vincent follows the child into the house, but he can"t find him. As soon as Vincent is about to walk out of the house, he sees the child dashing out of the door with two DG soldiers behind him. Vincent finds the child and saves him.*

Child: Thank…thank you… The storage house, if you are going, I know the way… The storage house just lies beyond there. Do you have a card key?

Vincent: …… *shakes his head*

Child: Then this way… I know the person who has it. Follow me.

*Vincent follows the child while protecting him on the way. After Vincent reached the building he ran down the stairs, out of the building.*

Child: Hmm…it is expected that by following this route, it should work.

Vincent: Ahh, understood, thank you for helping.

Child: ...Revenge…I… at that time, I couldn"t do a thing… Father, mother, even though they are just right in front of me… I hid, I was afraid, I couldn"t move… But, BUT I!

*Vincent crouches down to the child"s level.*

Vincent: ……

Child: Please…revenge for my father and my mother!

*Vincent stands up and walks away.*

 


*Vincent finally got to the storage house area and he walks inside slowly. He looks up and sees a DG soldier that is different than the others. This one looks tougher than the ones before. The DG soldier poses and motions to his comrades to start firing at Vincent.*

DC soldiers: Seiger, Vice!

*Vincent defeated the Heavy-mounted DG Soldier.*

Heavy-mounted soldier: Guahhhhh…I…lost…

*Vincent turns and walks away.*

 


*Scene switches to Rosso under the rain.*

Rosso: Ahh, this is the first time I have ever been poured by the rain ever since the day I was born. Though I get to see the sky, now that I"ve seen it, it"s seems like it"s nothing at this moment.

*Vincent appears next to her.*

Rosso: You are Vincent Valentine, the man who possesses the Ancient Materia.

Vincent: Ancient…Materia?

Rosso: Of course, you should have it, right? The key that controls Omega. If you hand it over without a protest, you won"t end up dying in suffer.

*Vincent stares at her.*

Rosso: Fufu, communication breakdown? Then endure your end with prolonged suffering and pain—Die.

*Rosso ran behind Vincent and attacks him a few times. Vincent dodged them so Rosso starts shooting him. Vincent tries to escape, but Rosso is too fast for him, so he got hit by Rosso and he collapsed onto the floor after being thrown into the wall. All of a sudden, something happened to Vincent"s body and he is engulfed by a red aura. He transformed into Chaos, which surprised Rosso a bit. Vincent releases his power and blasted Rosso away.*

*After Vincent changes back to his normal form, he collapses and falls backward gasping for air.*

Vincent: Ha…ha…haha….

*His surrounding starts to close in on him and the last thing he sees is a pair of legs and a skirt that belongs to Shalua.*
